Daily vehicle guide prices

The rate is not multiplied by the number of guests. All vehicle options are subject to confirmation, and luggage can change which model is suitable. These are Serendib Local planning estimates, not market-wide averages or guaranteed fares.

What a 5, 7 or 10 day trip could cost

A seven-day sedan estimate is $59 × 7 = $413 for the vehicle. This does not include your seven-day holiday's hotels, food, tickets or activities. Agree which days you need the car: a beach day with no driving does not automatically reduce a multi-day hire unless the quote says it does.

Included in the proposed transport quote

• Private vehicle, driver and fuel on the agreed route.
• A planning allowance of 8 hours and an average of 150 km a day over a multi-day hire.
• Driver meals and accommodation, ordinary parking and tolls on that route.

Every inclusion is confirmed in your written quote. An average distance allowance does not mean any single long day is practical. Discuss unusually early starts, long transfers, extra waiting or a route extension in advance.

Keep these costs separate

Budget separately for your accommodation, meals, attraction entry, specialist guides, train tickets, safari jeeps and other activities. Additional kilometres, hours, unusual parking or route changes must be priced and agreed before they are added. Airport and point-to-point transfers receive their own destination-specific quote.

Compare quotations on the same basis

Ask each provider to quote the same dates, overnight bases, guest/luggage numbers, vehicle type and stops. Then check fuel, driver costs, parking/tolls, included hours and kilometres, final currency/amount, extra charges, and payment/cancellation conditions. A lower headline rate can cover a different service.
